点评:Super, friendly welcome. Check Facebook for opening schedule as this changes throughout the season. Lovely glimpse into 1950’s life in Olden. We jumped on the Hop on Hop Off bus from the port which reduced the walk. We hopped off at the shops and walked the rest of the way. It’s uphill on the way there but at least it’s downhill on the way back. Chickens, goats, rabbits and a very friendly cat. There is a house which is like a time capsule from the 1950’s. Lots of treasures and artefacts in the main building and some artisan crafts to purchase, there are also a few cheaper more commercial trinkets on offer.
Our guided tour was great and we learned a lot about life in Olden and Norwegian traditions etc. this is a newly set up venture and the more it is supported the more it will grow. It was 200NOK per person. I’m hoping that as they are able to expand they will have a coffee wagon as that will entice more people up the hill to explore the farm.
