Cavalier treatment for disabled people.

点评：I'm at a weekend reception at Farnham Castle and I am disgusted. The place just doesn't consider disabled people at all. I had to come down a gravel slope to the garden which is no fun with a rollator and would be even less fun with a wheelchair. When I enquired about toilets I was pointed to a long flight of steps that didn't even have a handrail. In the end I was taken back up the gravel slope, round the back and into a hall leading to the toilet. However to get to the toilet there were still some steps to negotiate, again with no handrail. There was a ramp but it was too steep to walk on. In 2026 disabled people shouldn't be treated in such a cavalier fashion. Perhaps I shall have to go behind a tree later.
Apart from that there are old cigarette butts on the grass and there was some broken glass on the table. I pointed it out to the lady who "helped" me to the toilet but it was still there when I got back
