点评：We had the most enriching experience of Sri Lanka thanks to Kasun. To describe Kasun as a 'Transfer Driver' is to really undervalue his service and work, although if that's all you need I am happy to recommend him as a very prompt, efficient and extremely knowledgable and safe driver. He put our safety and comfort ahead of everything else at all times.
Kasun accompanied us on our journey from Colombo to Wildcoast Tented Lodge in Yalla National park, then thru to Ella, where we took the train to Nanu Oya and continued on to Kandy by road. Before returning back to Colombo. In total we spent 7 days in the company of Kasun.
During that time, Kasun was able to curate a tailored experience from the conversations and banter we were having on our drives. Kasun is a fellow traveller and took the initiative to recommend places off the beaten path including, food, cultural and spiritual places of significance, natural attractions, gemstone hunting etc We didn't just get the same old brochure experience.
What I really appreciate from Kasun is his genuine passion for hosting his guests, the insightful conversations and banter we were able to have together and the immersive experience of Sri Lankan culture that he provided for us. When we return to Sri Lanka we definitely will be calling on Kasun again.
If you find yourself in Sri Lanka, and you have the fortune of travelling with the guidance of Kasun, be sure to ask Kasun about eating Jackfruit with him - his favourite meal !!
