点评：Danu and his crew were wonderful to dive with !
Danu is a very kind, patient person, and a skilled divemaster as well.
I had some logistic problems getting to the shop and he waited patiently and did not complain that I was running a half hour late
The boat ride to Menjangen is not long from his shop area and Beach
This is a smaller operation and I really enjoy getting to meet and work with the locals and be part of their friendly and personable team.
You drive your car down a rather wiggly Road for a mile or two to get to the biat launch area , but there are trees to park hunt in the shade, which is nice.
There is a changing restroom at the where the boat launch is
There’s a very nice restaurant located where you turn out of the access road onto a larger road about a mile or two from the parking lot
The reef itself is in very good shape and a very pleasurable wild dive with many flying corals and fish to check out.
My luggage including most of my scuba gear was lost for over a week by Turkish air.
I was going to be going to Wakatobi resort to dive in a few days and needed a mask that I do fit my face well.
Danu was kind enough to sell me one of his masks so I could travel there knowing that I had a mask that fit my face. That was extremely helpful. I very grateful to him for doing that.
I definitely recommend diving Menjangen.
The drive from Dead passed Hour along the southwest coast of Bali is riddled with heavy truck, traffic and motorcycles the entire way.
I’m told that the lane coming south is in worse shape that the lane going north because the trucks are all loaded from carrying gear from the port if you’re driving from Denpasar north to Gilamanuk, you may want to cut east from there before going back south.
I stayed at Disthi Pearl center lodging ( on Booking.com) which was a good place because the owner was so kind to help me out when I got sick
However, it might be better to stay a half hour east of Their to cut down the driving distance
After diving Menjangen I stayed in Lovina for a night at a wonderful place a beautiful swimming pool and staff called Puri Bali.
The drive from Lovina back to Denpasar along the very skinny high mountain Road was an adventure.
The traffic was not nearly as intense as along the West Coast, but the road was very twisty, and it would be best to take a medium size rental car rather than a large car on this road
If you are renting a current valley, I suggest not renting a full size or larger car because the roads are very skinny and the traffic is incredibly intimidating and there’s a good chance you’ll bang up the fenders due to all the obstacles along the side of the road and thousands of Motorcycle surrounding you, so driving your own car Bali is not for the faint of heart
You may want to consider hiring a driver as they are not expensive and are used to driving through this crazy traffic
I look forward to returning to dive of the beautiful reefs of Menjangen again some day!
