点评：My role-play loving 6 year old had a gift voucher from his auntie to come here for a 2hr session. Booking the voucher appeared to be a little tricky as I had two codes and the website only accepts one code but when I called, the gent was so lovely and booked the voucher immediately for the date that I wanted. That phone call really set the tone for our overall experience and we were excited to arrive.
When we arrived, we were welcomed by a lovely smiley lady. The cafe was a beautiful, lovely and warm atmosphere and the village is just gorgeous! Everything appears well looked after, nothing looked broken or tired. It was also decorated in autumn themes, which was a lovely touch. Each building in the village had everything you could think of; my little one was absolutely delighted to spend the majority of his time in the post office, where he had parcels to sort, weigh and deliver to other village addresses. There was also an interactive story that ran throughout the session, lead by a play-leader in costume. We couldn’t believe our luck; They were fab! It’s clear that the focus of the business is the families that it serves and this was also evident in the menu, lots of good quality options, no beige items to be seen! I enjoyed a coffee and some sourdough toast while I treated my little one to a cookie. The options were well thought out though and I’d be happy ordering more from the menu in future.
Overall, a lovely role-play experience with my 6yr old. So many play cafes that we’ve been to just seem to be passing off someone’s old junk as role play toys, but not this place. The whole feel is new, clean and welcoming. Would recommend to anyone.
