Worst Car Rental Experience – Avoid Payless/Avis

点评:I booked a car via Wizzair and reserved a booster seat for my child months in advance. When I arrived, I was told no seat was available and simply that I “wouldn’t be charged.” No alternatives were offered, and I was even refused when I asked if I could buy one myself and be reimbursed. This was unprofessional and put my child’s safety at risk.
On top of that, after returning the car in perfect condition (and being told everything was fine), I was later charged extra without any explanation. My Wizzair booking clearly showed that everything was already paid in full, so there was no justification for additional charges.
It then took 12 days for customer service to respond to my complaint, only to say that “as a gesture of goodwill” they may provide a better service next time. This is completely unacceptable.
I will never use Payless/Avis again in any country and strongly advise others to avoid them as well.
