点评：We hadn’t heard of the Michigan History Museum until we found it on TripAdvisor—and it ended up being one of the highlights of our trip! This museum is outstanding in every way. It offers an engaging, top-quality walk through Michigan’s history from every angle: cultural, industrial, political, and environmental.
Each exhibit is thoughtfully designed and rich with information. We especially appreciated how immersive the displays are, from the early indigenous cultures to the boom of the auto industry. We had the pleasure of speaking with Bill, a staff member who provided some extra background that added depth to our experience—he was friendly, helpful, and very knowledgeable.
While a few of the interactive buttons (like “press to hear this”) weren’t working, it was a minor issue that didn’t take away from the incredible overall experience.
If you’re anywhere near Lansing, don’t miss this museum. It’s a hidden gem that makes history feel alive and accessible for all ages.
