Bunkers Are A Let Down
Fuerteventura Golf Club的点评
点评：Cost for an 18 hole round if not staying at an Elba hotel is currently €91. Trolleys are €5 ( two wheel), €8 ( three wheel). Range balls €2 for 30 balls.
Hire clubs available ( Wilson Staff) & very well used. Wouldn't recommend. Take your own or hire locally.
The course has an abrupt shock in stall for the first 4 holes if you're not confident hitting a straight ball as the road, villas, & a giant 10 foot high cut ( stormwater culvert) comes into play on the first 3 holes. Warm up first by hitting a few balls on the range.
The bunkers are just plain hazards. Full of stones, rocks & dust, no sand.
You’ll wreck your clubs playing out of these. Avoid.
The greens are all good. Keeping the ball on the fairway is key to having a decent round here.
There are a few dodgy t-shots as t boxes have been strategically been made awkward for those who like to hit driver everywhere to stop errant golf balls smashing roof tiles & windows of adjacent villas lining the course boundaries.
The 19th is a lovely experience. Cold beers €5 each served by lovely folk.
Would I play here again if in Fuertaventura, damn right I would.
