Book ahead and enjoy a taste of "the gentle dram"

点评：Booked a visit to Tomintoul Distillery whilst on my Aberdeenshire road trip earlier this month. The tours need to be booked in advance as number of tours and visitors on any one tour are limited, which, in my opinion, makes a visit here that bit more special.
The tour guide was very knowledgeable and spoke passionately about the whisky distilled here. I'm sorry I forgot his name, but he did speak in great depth about the whole whisky production process at Tomintoul which I found interesting and informative.
As I was driving, I couldn't taste the finished product there and then, but joined in by placing my samples of 3 x whiskies in their own little bottles to take away and enjoy later that evening. (Samples were of Seirdh (pron. "sherry"), the 16 yo and Old Ballantruan).
Promised I'd be back to take home a bottle and I duly returned to Tomintoul on the Monday and left with a bottle and a half of the "gentle dram".
Well worth a visit!

我答应过我会再回来带一瓶回家，于是周一我准时回到了托明托尔，带回了一瓶半的“温和威士忌”。
非常值得一游！
