点评:Visited during an unseasonably warm weekend in October. People were out in shorts hiking, sunbathing or swimming. The lake shimmers and the gentle waves against the rocks was so calming as we walked the waterfront bike path to get here. When we reached the shoreline, we walked the edge of beach where there the sand is firm until we reached the unmarked entrance of the trails at Rock Point. Somewhat marked actually by a small orange flag. We did the blue trail (marked by a blue triangle). Got amazing pictures at the top of the cliffs. Another day we climbed down to a secluded cove where the blue trail leads you. Found myself trying to imagine the undisturbed lives of the Native Americans who once cared for this beautiful land before greed destroyed their world. You will feel peace here and respectful of nature.
