点评:I visited M and S on Monday to return a blouse as the material had not reacted well to being touched by the iron. As a long standing customer and having bought many, many items over the years, I felt it was reasonable to air my concerns regarding the fact that the iron which was set to the coolest setting, had taken a piee out of my blouse.
When I spoke initially to the cashier, she didn't react at all but said she would get a second opinion. After having called over her colleague (another cashier), they both agreed after having seen the blouse for a matter of seconds, that there was not a fault with the blouse??? I reiterated that I had set the iron to the coolest setting, but after feeling humiliated and made to feel like a liar, I went home and have effectively wasted my money on a blouse which I have only worn once.
There isn't a problem with my iron and I have ironed several polyester items without a problem.
Interestingly, I spoke to some Jewish friends who advised me to send a letter of complaint, which I will be doing.
I feel that I have been a loyal customer for years and was treated like dirt by Customer Services.
I will not shop at M and S again unless I receive an apology
