Wonderful Victorian museum, wonderful Victorian town.

点评：This is one of America's great Victorian homes. From its surprising exterior to the astounding interior, this is a fun place to visit. I have enjoyed visiting several times.
The home's architecture deftly combined the architecture built by Europeans and Americans in Hawaii and across the hot and humid Pacific, open and lacy, and the Victorian era's very popular substyle, based on the italianate country homes.
The interior is remarkable, and preserves much of its original painted decor, which has been elaborately restored.
Marshall, Michigan, is a splendid outdoor museum of 19th century (1800-1900) American architecture, so give yourselves time to wander. They began woking to preserve their landmarks in the early 1900s, earlier than Charleston and Savannah, and it shows. Every one of the sub-styles of Victorian America is well represented. The Main Street is stuffed with great Victorian business buildings.
Visit and have fun.
