点评:We went here planning on a 30 min stop to stretch our legs with a little hike, but ended up staying for about 2 hours because of the rangers and especially (Jim?). So welcoming and eager to share their knowledge, and I was especially impressed about how he treated our 6 year old child. He had a blast there, even being a foreigner and not knowing much about american history.
The area is also lovely and you get great views from the tower. There is a Insta-friendly photo-op with a "Almost Heaven-swing" (although it was a bit strangely placed), and there are multiple short hikes to choose from. There is a small neat museum that explained the battle, that was interesting even for a bunch of Norwegians.
We wish them all the best and hope they get the funding they deserve!
