Great Views, not wheelchair accessible.
Kohler-Andrae State Park的点评
点评：I will preface this by saying I am a wheelchair user and had my dog with me.
While Kohler-Andrae is a gorgeous area, it is not very accessible to those who are using wheelchairs. The boardwalk seemed promising, however, it is not useable for a typical wheelchair or electric wheelchair. I have a foldable, lightweight, electric wheelchair (2 larger wheels in back, smaller in front) and was unable to navigate the boardwalk because the boards shift as you roll over them. It made going for a walk impossible.
I did notice another area that was paved and while that would be accessible, there were signs that dogs were not allowed, so I could not travel that way. Eventually, I found an area that was very close to the beach and a very short walk, dogs were allowed. I was able to get there using my chair to go up and down the hill to ge to the beach with my dogs.
Overall, gorgeous views, terribly inaccessible.
