点评：Treblinka left a much stronger emotional impact on me than Auschwitz-Birkenau. Although the site is smaller, the emptiness and silence are overwhelming. Walking across the vast field where hundreds of thousands were murdered in such a short time feels incredibly raw and real. Unlike Auschwitz, there are almost no remaining buildings – just monuments, stones with victims’ names, and the forest. This simplicity makes the horror feel more immediate and industrial. It was easier to imagine the scale of the extermination here. A very moving and thought-provoking visit. If you want to feel the weight of history without the crowds and heavy museum structure, Treblinka is essential. They are building a museum building at the site currently, but the walkable area is kilometers long away from the building site.
