点评：St. Mary's Church offered several surprises. The first was the church's vast interior space and the sense of peace — which, unfortunately, was later completely shattered. When we went to visit the tower, we encountered an elderly woman at the ticket counter who was extremely rude. She abruptly refused cash payment with dramatic gestures and head-shaking.
Her hostility and aggressive tone were so overwhelming (and although we do not speak Polish, body language and tone are universal) that my wife turned around and left. Meanwhile, the woman shouted after us, despite the fact that we had already paid the entrance fee but now voluntarily chose to abandon the tower visit.
The church itself is magnificent, but be warned: the experience can be completely ruined by the dreadful behavior of the female staff.
