点评：While some of the permanent exhibits at Fort William Henry are showing their age, the real standout is the live interpretation. The staff delivering the programs are truly exceptional—combining solid historical knowledge with humor, energy, and a sharp sense of audience engagement. Whether you’re a history buff or just casually curious, the interpreters know how to draw you in and keep you interested.
I was especially impressed with how they addressed the broader context of the site’s history, including thoughtful acknowledgment of the indigenous peoples whose stories are too often overlooked in colonial-era narratives.
Fort William Henry’s interpretive programming shows how good storytelling can bring history to life—even in a setting with some outdated displays. Well worth a visit for the personal touch alone.
