FUN TO VISIT AN ARCADE AFTER MANY YEARS
Funspot的点评
点评：On vacation in the Lakes Region, we had plans for Laconia, but the plans happened to coincide with the annual BIKEtemberfest event. A lot of Lakeside Avenue was blocked off for it. So, our Plan B was to go to the Funspot located away from that area up on US-3.
Funspot boasts that it is the largest arcade in the world.
Besides having over 600 games, Funspot also has 20 bowling alleys, an 18-hole mini golf course, nightly and Sunday afternoon Bingo, and amusements for children such as bumper cars. It is also home to the American Classic Arcade Museum (ACAM), the Braggin' Dragon Restaurant, and the D.A. Long Tavern.
There was no admission charge. One bought tokens and used them to play the games. 25 tokens cost $5.00; 50 tokens cost $10.00. They were purchased from machines.
In the three-story facility, we visited only two levels.
On the first floor, there were a lot of newer games. Those were of interest to the teens in our party.
The adults were more interested in the classic older arcade games in the ACAM section.
Everyone had a good time. It was fun to play arcade games after many years.
We rate Funspot at 4.50 and can recommend a visit.
The reason for the delay in submitting this review was due to a months-long loss of my ability to post photos with my reviews and some health issues.
