CHAOTIC logistics - know before you go!
玫瑰碗体育馆的点评
点评：Beautiful, historic venue. Old, but clean and well equipped. Staff inside were friendly and the sound/screens during the concert was great.
However, logistics to and from the venue were confusing. We took the recommended Shuttle Bus from Old Town Pasadena, which was very well run and efficient. HOWEVER, the return was chaos...
The line that was supposed to be to the shuttles after the event was so extremely long, with no staff to direct or confirm we were in the correct place.
After 30 minutes, we decided to UBER back, which was a mistake because UBER kept cancelling and was not allowed to come near the stadium due to the one way road in/out. SO luckily we asked a traffic director staff member and they told us to walk uphill to a small neighborhood, where we could finally get an UBER. Not an easy walk for people with mobility issues.
All in all, I wish we would have driven and pre-paid for parking - being stuck inside a car in traffic (seems) to be better than the chaos we endured.
