点评：I booked this trip through GetYourGuide- it was very affordable! If you’re trying to save money I would recommend choosing the option where you make your own way there and meet your group/guide for the tour outside the mine entrance. You can save yourself nearly £40 doing this for two people! Bargain! From the centre of Krakow it only costs 6PLN via public transport to get there, or for an uber/bolt roughly 30PLN.
Anywho, on to the actual destination, this was by far one of my favourite places to visit in Krakow! The guides are very helpful, giving all sorts of information about the history of the mine. You go through all different eras of the mine and see salt as well as salt and maybe some more salt!
There were a hefty amount of steps going down into the mine, something near 400 steps I believe? So just prepare yourself for going around and around for a little bit- but it’s all worth it! Walking around isn’t strenuous at all and thankfully there’s a lift to return to the surface 🎉
The temperature of the mine is always the same- around 16° so for me when I went (start of january) I was fine walking around in a tshirt, that’s just me though- it’s recommended to come in layers so you can adjust temperature and I very much agree with that!
If you’re thinking about licking the salt, all I have to say is that they didn’t say anything against it 🤭
