Belvedere Mansion的点评
点评：We visited this mansion on a Sunday afternoon. They have you wait outside, and hopefully, they notice you there.
A nice lady did notice us and added us to a tour underway.
The first part of the tour has the group standing in the hallway and listening to the history of the house and of Galena. Our docent was very knowledgeable about both.
You see the dining room and part of the kitchen.
Next, you ascend the stairs and see a couple of rooms for the servants. The second docent was new but very nice.
You go back downstairs and see a room which has the green curtains from Gone with the wind. This was a highlight. Unfortunately, the third docent is a little rude, including saying that she traveled to Wisconsin by accident and wouldn't do it again after asking us where we were from...
A couple from New Hampshire left the tour early because they couldn't stand all the talking. I felt that was unnecessary but do be ready to listen lol..
