点评：Sauder Village is a wonderfully preserved and thoughtfully run historic attraction that offers a rich, hands‑on look at life in earlier eras. The craftsmanship throughout the village—whether in the blacksmith shop, the glassblowing studio, or the historic homes—is consistently impressive, and the staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and engaging as they speak through the different crafts. Their passion for the history they share really elevates the experience.
The village is clean, well‑maintained, and easy to navigate, making it a great outing for families, school groups, or anyone who enjoys stepping back in time. The restaurant and bakery are also great to grab a quick bite.
Admission can feel a bit pricey for larger families, and depending on the day, some demonstrations may be limited or certain buildings may not be staffed. Still, the overall experience is warm, immersive, and memorable. We stopped by during the 50-year anniversary and got half off our tickets. The train rides are part of the admission.
