点评:There are white sand beaches in Florida. I have been to some. This is not one of them. In addition, the water was not clear when I was there.
Many transplants seem to recommend this beach, but I don't think they actually go there. I was here a few years ago, and never remembered thinking it was a place I would want to return to. Then, it was recommended again, and someone I was visiting wanted to there again, and now I know I would suggest somewhere different in the future.
It reminded me of some of the less good beaches in the Great Lakes. Many Great Lakes beaches are better than this one.
I was there in late March, and it was crowded. The $10 parking lot was full as spring breakers from the U.S. and Canada were at the beach. Cars were circling around the parking lot trying to get spots, and many cars left.
I have personally never taken the tram. I just walk the boardwalk, but most people take it. Sometimes there is a line for the tram. It is approximately ¾-mile trip walk or ride from the parking lot to the beach. So, if you bring a lot of stuff to the beach, that can be an issue.
Part of the beach is owned by a resort and closed off. They have a bar/restaurant if you want to buy food and drinks.
