A magic Santa sleepover - probably our best stay at Alton Towers - a true credit to the Merlin experience

点评：We booked the Santa sleepover with a stay at the CBeebies hotel and it was truly fantastic.
Although booking it was a total nightmare when using a Merlin pass as it is not possible to easily add theme park tickets when booking in advance for those in your family without a pass that was really the only let down - but please do fix this AT!
We arrived early morning at the hotel and were given express parking at the front entrance rather than take the bus. I highly advise this but it is not clearly explained in the pre-arrival info. But shoutout to Fletch in the hotel Lobby who gave us all the info.
The park was mostly CBeebies and Mutiny Bay and to be honest I think this is about right. It keeps the crowds down and allows the park to focus on smaller ones. Santa visit was great and didn’t feel rushed like so many do. My only real complaint here is please give the Nightgarden ride some TLC and allow parents to not have to walk through the gift shop on exit.
Panto was enjoyable although I wish they had a venue inside the park or a quicker way of getting to it as it burns a lot of your time making the trek over.
Meals were excellent and staff very friendly even catering well for allergies and picky children.
Evening entertainment was decent with a good variety.
Waterpark was good although perhaps a tad busy. Probably needs just a small expansion of some other family ride to soak up queues a bit. But we enjoyed the outdoor part here a lot!
In summary it was excellent just make the booking process easier for passholders and organise pre-booking info better.

虽然希望演出场地设在公园内，或者交通更便捷一些，因为现在要走很费时间，所以哑剧表演还是挺有趣的。
餐食很棒，工作人员非常友好，甚至能很好地照顾到有过敏症和挑食的孩子。
晚间娱乐活动也不错，种类丰富。
水上乐园不错，就是人有点多。或许可以稍微扩建一下其他适合家庭的游乐设施，缓解一下排队的情况。不过我们很喜欢这里的户外区域！
总而言之，这次体验很棒，只是希望持年票的游客可以简化预订流程，并更好地整理预订信息。
