点评:First time apple pickers - my wife and I had a great time. We went on a weekday (Oct. 2nd) and had what we would guess was a small crowd, though there were some well behaved school groups. There is ample parking. First stop was the doughnuts - my they are really great! Then we walked around the shopping and produce barn trying to get a lay of the land - there seemed to be a lack of instruction, signage and folks to guide us. We made out OK anyway. If you want to pick apples, you buy a large plastic picking bag at the counter near the back exit - be prepared it costs $30 and holds about 30 apples. You can also bypass the picking and buy a wide variety of apples at the store area. It is a hilly hike into the orchards to pick, so you best be in good shape. There are other activities for the kids like a playground, etc. All around we had a great time! PS: the workers appeared to be tired the morning of our visit - the only smile we got was from the gal singlehandedly making and selling the doughnuts - she deserves a smile of the day bonus.
