点评：My wife and I went on the Wilmington and Western Railroad train hayride on Halloween. We thought we were going to miss our 4:30pm ride time as we were running late. Coming over the Delaware Memorial Bridge from South Jersey, where we live, we get a phone call from the railroad. We told Sue, the staff member who called, that we ere still a few minutes away. She said they couldn't hold that train but could get us on the 5:30pm train. We took that time and had a wonderful train ride. Pulled by a SW1 switch engine, in an open-air flatcar outfitted with wooden seats and bales of hay to sit on, for a 40-minute train ride through he Red Clay Valley. We had such a great time and the price was very reasonable. We rode the train twice last year for the first time, taking the Fall Foliage ride and the Holiday Express ride. We are coming back in December for the Holiday Express ride. Sue also recommended a great little Italian restaurant 5 minutes away from the railroad we went top, Cafe Napoli, and had a great meal. If you are looking for something to do, that's reasonably priced and fun for the family or just you and your significant other, check out this railroad. This will now be annual events for myself and my wife, we love doing it so much.
