Best Experience on the Island
Naxos Fishing Trips By Stamatis的点评
点评：Stamatis is an experienced and good hearted Fisherman . Fishing is Life for him, he is from Naxos and knows every corner of the sea of this beautful island. I went on the trip in august 2025, we were a group of person and the atmosphere was absolutely quiet, relaxing, very instructing as we saw all the process from taking out the nets, participating also in taking the fishes out of them.
He explained names and characteristics of each fish we caught, we could see the cleaning process of the fish which afterwards was cooked and served. We appreciated the traditional fish soup and a grilled mix of all the fishes we cought.
Stamatis and his daughetr were special in assuring that everyone was happy with the food (water,wine, salads,dessert and ouzo included) and making us feeling comfortable on the boat.
We had the chance to see some marvellous beaches and stop for swimming. Stamatis also stopped with the boat in front of the little church on the rocks at Mikry Vigla bay. We had the chance to reach it by a short swim from the boat.. for those who went, it was an amazing experience to step on the rocks and went into a curch in the middle of the sea.
I chose to stay stay on the boat to see how Stamatis and his daughter (she also has sailing experience) were repairing the nets and to just relax.
We were just floating soflty in the sea , no loud music , no parties like most of the other boats do.. this was real traditional moment of Greek Life..and it was really my best experience in the Island of Naxos.
I suggest to book and confirm in advance, before even arriving in the island to make sure You don’t miss to enjoy this unique Traditional Local Life experience during your holidays
