点评：We visited the museum and memorial to pay respects to our friend's great grandfather. The visit centre and museum are very welcoming with friendly, informative staff. The museum itself and the films are superb and very moving. We spent around 2 hours in the museum (we do read everything!) and then walked the short distance to the memorial. The size and position of the memorial is quite a sight to see. The memorial is the largest Commonwealth memorial in the world.
There is a lovely restaurant between the visitor centre and memorial (not part of the centre but a great place to stop for a drink or lunch and the staff were superb).
Entrance at Euro 8 per person is fantastic value. A combined ticket with the museum in Peronne (valid 1 year) is Euro12.
