GROUP TRIP TO SEE OGUNQUIT PLAYHOUSE'S VERSION OF IRVING BERLIN’S “WHITE CHRISTMAS”

点评：Friends in our group organized a daytrip for everyone. Group transportation via C&J Bus Lines motor coach was arranged because our group was quite large, and parking was very limited at the diner and in the area near The Music Hall.
After lunch at The Roundabout Diner, we arrived in plenty of time to get well settled in our seats.
In the few minutes before the performance began, there was an announcement that photography and recording were not allowed. Someone started taking photos. A member of our group who was seated near him saw and heard everything. An usher trained a bright flashlight right in his face and warned him that he could be expelled with no refund. That was enough to get him to desist.
The production started just after the scheduled 1:30 PM.
The cast members from the Ogunquit Playhouse were all excellent actors, singers, and dancers. The production was wonderful.
Most of the sets were pretty basic but nice.
The costumes for the big song and dance production numbers were marvelous, especially the red-and-white outfits in the finale.
The sound system and acoustics in this hall are excellent.
When, the musical ended, we were to meet in the lobby. It took only 5 minutes after we get to the lobby to start loading.
Everything went smoothly.
We rate The Music Hall and the Ogunquit Playhouse production of Irving Berlin’s “White Christmas” at 5.0. We can recommend The Music Hall.
I've attended other events here - Joshua Bell in Concert and John Mayall & The Bluesbreakers - to name a couple.
