Down hill ! Not in a good way!

点评：I loved coming to Jay with the family. We have been coming here for 5 or 6 years. I understand there was some financial drama with the last owners, but the experience was always top notch! That changed this year, from the moment we checked in. I was told my water park passes purchased with the room package were good for the following day and the day of check out! What it was 12:30 in the afternoon, we always traveled up early and hung out at the waterpark until our room was ready. I was told we could purchase additional tickets! After spending over 3000 dollars', why would we not have passes for the time we are checked in! How many people travel hours to get there, we drive 5 and I did not plan on staying the day of check out. In past years there was a valet service that was amazing, they helped you unload your car, hold your belongings until your room was ready, deliver your stuff to your room and park your car. Yes, we tipped nicely for this service but as one can imagine having so much stuff and kids this was a huge benefit. This is gone and you are on your own. I was actually struggling to maneuver that bus trolly thing and not one person offed to help. They gave me a car tag and said go to park in the garage over by the skating rink. The rooms claim to be stocked with the necessary items for your stay. I had one very old 8–10-inch Teflon chipped and burnt dirty fry pan, I asked for a replacement. Housekeeping brought me another pan it was an equally old 4 in fry pan. I tried to explain that I need the pan to cook for the family and that pan would not do. She brought me back a pan in a new box and left. I opened it and it was a 8-inch pot not a fry pan. They do not service your rooms anymore if you need more that 2 towels or anything for your room you need to request it. Back to stocked room. I had 1- 16 oz glass and 4 -8 oz glasses. When I went to the desk to asked about glasses, I mentioned the fry pan situation. She agreed and said they would handle it. So, they bring me 2 glasses and they brough me a fry pan! Guess what they brought me the same fry pan from the first day, only they tried to clean it!!!!!! Are you kidding me in an establishment this huge you have no stock! I am not even kidding! I give up! She said is 2 glasses enough. I replied you stock 6 of everything correct. She said yes, housekeeping will do that when you check out!!!!I just had nothing to say at that monent,,, Nothing.....When I pulled out the murphy bed no linen, called front desk she said it's on the bed. No, it wasn't! They did bring me some.
Provisions is a lovely store to get items to feed your crew or get what you need that you did not bring. This year not one item has a price, to me that is confusing, they have labels but not a price in the entire store, clothing, drinks and grocery items. Its a total mystery. I was told they do that because prices change daily! On everything! So, I spend time getting my items and i am subject to whatever price at that moment. What if I need to budget. Seems sketchy to me!!! The people in the water park teaching the wave have little interest in teaching you, In the past they were amazing. So much has changed and, in my opinion, not for the better. Not sure we will be back!
