点评:This is so much more that James Madison! Yes, they have some great Madison material, but it is the "other stuff" that really adds to the experience. You enter into a small gift shop and where you pay the admission. More than reasonably priced! The next room has an area where the exhibits change.
On you right is a very well-done room which covers slavery in the area and a wall with much material on the history of people of color in Orange. That leads to a very small area on indigenous people but adds to the experience.
The largest room covers Madison and the other Virginia born presidents from the early days of our nation.
They have a wide variety of early automobiles, farm equipment, other items of interest and a 1700's house that sits in the center!
This was my second visit, and this was a group of almost 50 adults. The staff did an excellent job. The members of our group very much enjoyed our visit.
