冰岛巫术博物馆的点评
点评：It is not a big attraction, but well worth the stop if you are traveling in the area and are interested in mythology and magic. There are not a lot of display items, rather a lot of runes painted on walls accompanied by a lot of text but they provide booklets in your language of choice so everything is accessible. Fascinating to read that mostly men were executed for witchcraft in this region. There is a good little gift shop and a cute cafe which served excellent spicy pumpkin soup when we were there. It is quirky little place and as someone who is fascinated by mythology and runes I very much enjoyed this museum.
We also visited the sorceror's cottage, located just outside of town. It is a little turf roofed cottage and free to enter. Beware though, the displays are motion activated which scared the daylights out of me when I first entered. Very small, but fun.
