点评：Public transport from Rome is easy. Take Metro B towards Laurentina. Tap on with credit card, flat rate of Euro 1.50. Get off at EUR Magliana and change platforms to catch train going towards Cristoforo Colombo. You need a ticket. A single is Euro1.50 again. Get off at Ostia Antica and follow signs. It's a 5 to 8 min walk. Euro18 entry. There's a cafe. It's lovely walking around seeing how ordinary Romans lived. Mosaics, bath houses, shops, tavernas, shrines, temples, theare, toilets! Check out the single understairs loo in Domus delta Fortuna Anninaria. Just off the triclinium. Nothing changes!
It is possible to buy a ticket at the start of your journey for Euro2.50 for the 2 trains lasting 100 mins. You get them from the red ticket machines. They charge 50c for the rechargeable card which is just a paper card! The trains all run on time and are clean and safe.
