点评:Just before writing this, I came across Mike L's review below. His findings in the museum mirrored mine. We went to the museum primarily for the Houdini exhibit, but most of the displays - entirely geared to children - were out of order. Given Houdini was part of Appleton the town touts, a more comprehensive history would create inquisitiveness and spark interest. The exhibits on Appleton and suffragettes (I think temporary) on the ground floor did not create a sense of wonder or curiosity, flatly relating that era of history on posters. The museum's saving grace was a fantastic video on Appleton that is upstairs in a back room - we almost missed it; no one told us it was there. Although long, it gave great background on the area. For what was presented and operational, the $10 entry seems high.
