Fennimore Doll and Toy Museum and Gift Shoppe的点评
点评：Most of people in Madison don't know where Fennimore is. Platteville, Dodgeville, Mineral Point, Monroe - those cities have either landmarks or prominent places (like University of Wisconsin) and are on most people's mental map. Fennimore - not so. I was aware of Fennimore because of its railroad museum, but only recently learned of this doll and toy museum. It's actually a part of the defunct Wisconsin Heritage Program, but unfortunately the sign that such program usually requires is not there (usually it's on the main street through town, where people can see it and become aware of the attraction). It's just a block away from the main drag, but nothing points to it, which is sad. However, now that you are aware of it - please visit: it houses an amazing collection of yesteryear dolls and some modern ones (Barbies), and some toy cars and trucks as well.
