An area MUST DO!
Cass Scenic Railroad State Park的点评
点评：This is a must do! Was not expecting to appreciate the area as much as I did! The museum, albeit, small, was enough to gather historical information yet feeling overwhelmed with information. The town diorama was value adding to appreciate the land use during the logging era. The short video was informative to help bring together the town's history and the grounds as preserved today. Walking around the historical town was like a walk back in time. The park had lodging in some of the original structures! The town had access to the Greenbrier River and the Greenbrier River Trial. Plenty of parking and admission was free. The Ranger at the museum were super friendly too! The store had local products and a cute ice cream stand. The restaurant had a yummy biscuit with gravy- a must try food when in West Virginia. It is worth being there when the trains are departing/ arriving. I was unable to fit in a train ride in my travel to the area. Make sure to give a donation in the museum to help preserve this gem of a park!
