Take the time to get to know this little wonder as is Hall’s Harbour

点评：This quaint little fishing village overlooking the Bay of Fundy, you will be amazed at the ocean views, crashing waves and the change in tides. From our rental property at Dolphin’s Rest, we were able to marvel everything from the back porch as well as have an easy walk to the beach. It is not a far walk to get to the dock where lobster boats are loading up for the day’s fishing expedition and viewing the up and close changes in the tide. You can also find Hall’s Harbour Trail right near the dock that is about an 11-minute walk. We didn’t explore this on the day we were there as it was too rainy and muddy.
Moving on further from the boat dock, you make your way to the Hall’s Harbour Lobster Pound where they serve the most diverse menu of lobster items (lobster nachos, lobster poutine, etc.). However, if you decide to dine here, I highly recommend trying the whole lobster dinner. They come in a variety of sizes (small to large) and the servers were very helpful in choosing which serving is the best for you as well as answering any questions if you are a first-time lobster eater. The restaurant also has the cutest little gift shop attached where I bought the cutest little Christmas ornament.
Walking further along past the Lobster Pound to the left, you will see the most amazing cliffs in the distance, where you can walk around the rocky beach to get right up and close. So, many great views and moderately easy to walk along.
Heading back to our rental property, you will find this stay very comfortable and cozy. There are lots of bedrooms and beds for families (or a couple of families). It is an old-style home but has been very well maintained and you can find almost anything you need from the kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms. On a particular windy day (which was our situation), you can feel the whole house stir and shake and hear the waves violently crashing. Though it is just an experience to be able to feel the power of the ocean and witness the pure beauty of the Bay of Fundy across the way. The sunsets from the property are the most breathtaking and provide best photo ops. It is worth taking the time to get to know this little wonder as is Hall’s Harbour.
