Fort Richardson State Park and Historic Site的点评
点评：I just recently did a solo camp at Ft. Richardson State Park from 12/24/25 to 12/26/25. This wasn't my first trip to camp at the fort but I truly had an enjoyable and peaceful time. The temperature was in the mid eighties while I was there for Christmas, but it felt more like late summer or early fall. This park has so much history and I highly recommend it for anyone to visit, especially families. There is so much to learn about Ft. Richardson, and in some of my past visits I have toured the property on both guided and unguided tours. Every campsite I have ever camped in has been great. Each has it's own unique charm. It was especially quiet on my trip this time due to the holiday and the fact there weren't a lot of tent campers there. I made reservations in advance and paid in advance also. This was a very easy process and due to the holiday, the staff were able to close the park headquarters early to spend time with their families. All I had to do was just go directly to my campsite because I had pre-registered. I just can't say enough good things about this park! I believe this was my 6th time to camp here and I am sure it won't be my last. Thanks TPWD, for making this such an enjoyable destination and keeping Texas history alive at Ft. Richardson!
