点评:Excellent tour guides. Cute little gift shop. The authenticity of the buildings is a delight. The Surveyor’s house is just a Laura described. And the detail and historic significance of Pa’s last home is fascinating. This is well worth a visit for all Laura fans. The museum will give you a map to help find the Ingalls’ graves. Most of the downtown buildings have signs indicating what the buildings/locations were during Laura’s time there. Nearby you can also visit the location of Almanzo’s land and tree claim. It’s just a historical marker along the high way. The Ingalls Homestead is also nearby. It is privately owned and operated. Visitors can see the huge cottonwood trees planted by Charles Ingalls. We opted not to visit/enter the Homestead. It is mostly just living history. Anyone who lives in a rural area has probably seen and done all of these activities in real life. It’s for city kids. ;-)
