点评:Given that this is THE Grand Bazaar, I would say you should at least stop in--however, my advice is not to buy much here. A lot of what you find here in terms of jewelry, tea, spices, cosmetics, sweets, and trinkets is in the smaller, less hectic Egyptian Spice Market, which boasts a fraction of the price of the items you find here. I was shopping for jewelry, and I was especially glad I told myself to come back if I couldn't do better, because I did MUCH better! But if you want to find out for yourself, grab a few business cards; you can always come back, because it's open late.
How much time you spend here depends on how much you want to see; you can easily stay here a whole day and possibly not see everything, especially if you try to shop. Personally I think 2 hours is more than enough.
In the Grand Bazaar especially, exercise precaution. This is a pickpocket hotspot. I carry a crossbody that I keep zipped and locket as much as possible. Get an under-your-outfit secret stash wallet (Eagle Creek makes a discreet one for anyone who wears bras), and don't flash cash; jewelry vendors do offer cash discounts sometimes, but they usually find a little privacy for you so you don't have to whip things out in full view of everyone. I also cannot stress enough the value of a lanyard for your phone. If there is any place it might do a vanishing act, this is it.
Also, if you don't like crowds, you might want to avoid coming here during the day!
