点评：Saturday 7th June we were on an organised Tour to visit Antalya Old Town, Kaleiçi.
This clock tower is one of the outstanding features and stands tall in the Old Town.
The building is an example Ottoman architecture. There is no clear information about the height of the Tower.
It comprises of a tall pentagonal shaped tower base, the largest section. Sitting on top of this is a smaller tower with a square body, each side has a clock.
This is all topped by a metal cupola style domed roof crowned with a crescent moon finial. The Turkish flag flies from a flagpole below the dome.
At the time of our visit all of the clock faces showed the same time but they had stopped, not working. Also the building itself needed some attention as there were weeds growing out of the brickwork.
On one side of the Tower there are some steps which lead to the base of the ladder up to the entrance some distance above. At the time of our visit access to this area was closed off.
The Tower is not open to the public, however it still remains a central landmark in the Old Town.
