Watermouth Castle的点评
点评：We visiting here with two children ages 8 & 5 and a dog. We were chuffed to find out this place was dog friendly and the website stated that there were lots of water points around the park for dogs drinking. This was not the case unfortunately. We didn’t find a single dog bowl and on a hot day this was an issue.
The park is a really good size but very run down and I would say is more suited to children 5 and under.
The 2 larger rides (toboggan and water slide) both had 45 minute wait wash which wasn’t ideal. If there were more larger rides for older children and adults, this queue wouldn’t be so bad.
The toilets were not only dirty and unkept but very sparse causing long queues.
If you don’t like crowded places then this isn’t an ideal place as everything is very compact and the whole place feels like a maze. It was difficult having a dog in such a crowded place with queues everywhere too so I’d advise leaving them behind.
Dogs aren’t allowed in the dungeons which meant one of us missed out on that and they’re also not allowed in the play area which we didn’t mind but all the seating for parents was inside the play park and non outside. Neither could we see our children whilst outside the play park and felt uncomfortable that they were out of site.
There are lots of small rides suitable for 5 years and under and lots of nooks and crannies to venture into. It all seemed very quaint and like it would have been fantastic a decade or two ago but needs updating.
I feel the price of this place is far too high for what you get and it certainly isn’t “dog friendly” apart from just allowing them to come in. We left feeling very disappointed and ripped off unfortunately. Certainly won’t go back.
