点评：Re visited again to find the shop and cafe were now closed and the parking charge had gone up to £7. As it is a lovely walk and our grandsons wanted to hire bikes I paid the parking charge (with my credit card, the machine did not give a receipt) we hired the bikes and the boys went off and we set of walking. A week or so after we returned home I got a penalty notice showing that I had not paid the parking charge. My credit card statement was not due but I was able to access the statement on line and saw that ther was no transaction for the day we visited so clearly the machine was faulty. I appealed the penalty but the response, which had obviously not taken any notice of the text my appeal, was rather as expected. Effectively forcing a payment.
This used to be an outstanding site to visit but now the shop and cafe are closed, the EV chargers are not working and as I found to my cost the ticket machine also was faulty. I wonder how long before nature reclaims it.
NRW policy of shutting down the facilities at their attractions will I'm sure detract from the numbers visiting. On the day we visited the car park was barely half full in stark contrast to our previous visits.
In summary a lovely place being ruined by the short sighted actions of NRW. we will stick to National Trust places from now on.

这里曾经是个很值得一游的好地方，但现在商店和咖啡馆都关门了。那些电动车充电桩根本无法使用；而我亲身经历也证实，售票机同样有故障。真不知道要过多久大自然就会重新占领这个地方。
我确信，NRW关闭景区内各项设施的举措必定会导致游客数量减少。我们到访那天，停车场的空位还超过一半，这与我们以往到访时的情形形成了鲜明对比。
总而言之，这原本是个很不错的地方，却因NRW目光短浅的决策而毁了。今后我们只会选择国家信托基金会管理的景点了。
