Nice views from the opposite side of the lake

点评：The train ride was nice with great views of the lake that you can only get on the train. There was a lot of stop and start though as when we set off it was less than five minutes before we stopped at the next station for the engine to swap from the front to the back of the train and then take us back through our original station on its way down the lake.
It stopped at the last station to do the same thing and then on the way back stopped for a few minutes at a random station in the middle of the lake for no other reason than to let people have cigarette breaks it seems as there was literally nothing else there!
We stayed at the café for lunch at the end but again, slightly strange as you do most of the work yourself in terms of getting your drinks, cutlery and condiments etc – the staff literally just bring the food overonce it is cooked.
Overall, it's a nice "there and back" steam train ride and a reasonably priced café but just not quite the experience we thought, and hoped, it would be.
