Bowland Wild Boar Park的点评
点评：Very disappointed with our visit today, we have been to bowland wild boar park before and it was brilliant, today we returned to find a lot of the animals had gone sadly, the reptiles and spiders were no longer there, the donkeys were also not there, it seemed very empty compared to our previous visit a year ago. We went for some lunch and again last year there was a vast range of choice, today the choices were pasties for adults and a kids box (cheese sandwich or sausage roll, babybel yogurt and Pom bear crisps), when I asked if they had an allergen menu as our daughter had a dairy allergy, I was told no (despite there being signs asking to declare allergens), and then when I asked if there were alternatives to the cheese sandwich again I was told no, I asked if there were any other catering facilities on site but was told unfortunately no. What used to be a great family day out has gone downhill, when we asked the staff where the animals were, we were told that the lady who used to run the education centre has moved back to Yorkshire and taken most of the animals with her, and that the remaining animals had been ‘shuffled’ about the park but were still there. Our daughter (aged 2) actually had a great day but from an adults perspective and knowing how it used to be I don’t think we will be going back again.
