Sunken Gardens的点评
点评：Sunken Gardens is an absolutely beautiful place to spend a few hours wandering around. One thing we really appreciated was how much shade there is throughout the gardens. In Florida, that’s a huge bonus! But it’s not just shade for the sake of shade, it’s provided by some truly stunning trees that are worth admiring in their own right.
The gardens are filled with gorgeous plants, flowers, and tropical scenery, making it a relaxing place to explore. I can also see why people choose to get married here. If it’s within your budget, it would make for a spectacular wedding venue.
One of our favourite parts was seeing the animals. I absolutely love flamingos, so I could have stood there watching them for ages. They offer a flamingo encounter where you can get up close and feed them, but unfortunately we had just missed it. Next time, that’s definitely something I’d like to do.
We also enjoyed seeing the other birds and, of course, the turtles throughout the gardens.
My only minor criticism is that I wish there were a few more animals to see. But honestly, that’s a pretty unfair complaint because at the end of the day, this is a botanical garden, not a zoo.
Overall, it’s a peaceful, beautiful attraction that’s well worth visiting if you’re in St. Petersburg.
