点评:We were looking for somewhere with a good photo opportunity to test a new long lens and ended up at Ranworth Broad, a bit of a trek down narrow lanes but well worth it.
I can imagine that things would get very congested in the high season and probably best well avoided but the local residents / council have done their best to provide parking (free when we visited) and facilities (good toilet block, local shop, cafe and visitor centre) for visitors and, presumably, to alleviate the possibility of unsuitable or thoughtless parking.
There are plenty of walks available, well marked, including up to the local church where views are reportedly excellent and where a cafe / shop was being advertised as being open every day - there was a limited amount of parking directly outside the church and then a protected path down the hill to the Broad.
A small marina (sounds rather grand to be calling it that really) with limited mooring and a cacophony of ducks, all eager to be fed.
Very pretty and relatively quiet.
As well as the cafe there is a lovely looking pub across the road with it's own parking.
