点评：Wow! We would thoroughly recommend this incredible experience. Led by real-life palaeontologist Casey and the wonderfully knowledgeable Lynne, we honestly couldn’t have enjoyed it more. What started as an activity for our 11-year-old quickly became an experience the whole family loved — we’re now all planning future holidays around fossil hunting and even talking about geology or palaeontology degrees!
At a time when the world can feel heavy, spending a day with such passionate, inspiring, and authentic people was a real tonic. Casey’s expertise in identifying our finds was fascinating, and Lynne’s warmth and enthusiasm were truly uplifting. The Lyme Regis Museum itself is brilliant too — learning more about Mary Anning and her discoveries was the perfect bonus.
We even went back the next day to make sure we hadn’t missed anything. Thank you, Lyme Regis Museum — and especially Casey and Lynne — for an unforgettable, energising experience. We absolutely needed that.
Make sure you book ahead as we were incredibly lucky to get a cancellation - apparently this is rare.
