点评:Firstly, let me state that I am disabled following an accident (can't talk, walk with the use of crutches, can't swim following the accident. I don't have a carer at the moment, so it was myself and my two children who visited the park.
I took my children (at great cost) to give them the chance to experience something that they only ever dreamed about.
My 10 year old son went into the wave pool. At some stage, he was knocked over and went under the water. I heard a lifeguard sound his whistle (there were about 10 lifeguards on duty) and I thought it was because of rough play by someone. As it turned out, my son almost drowned but God forbid one of the guards should get wet by actually going into the water.
NOT ONE OF THEM ASSISTED. My son came up to me from the pool and explained what had happened and wanted to leave straight away, due to the negative experience. Moments later, a guard came up and told me to go in the water with him. I HAVE CRUTCHES AND CAN'T WALK WITHOUT THEM. HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO GET INTO THE WATER?
This happened a week ago and I'm still angry about the situation and lack of empathy from the park staff.
Needless to say, we won't be returning to the park in the future.
NOT IMPRESSED.
