Rathlin Island的点评
点评：A visit to Rathlin was on my bucket list for a long time but overall a bit underwhelming for me!
The positives:
The boat trip out is enjoyable with nice views of the Island and Scotland as well as the Antrim coast.
Boat lands in a nice little village.
Island is quiet - road is not too busy so good for walking or cycling.
Negatives:
Bus to bird sanctuary was full and the service is not that good.
No roads off the main road down to little coves / beaches etc. and all the land seems to be private so you tend to be restricted to a single road as you go across the Island.
Island lacks a bit of atmosphere - it was quiet and subdued in the village.
No doubt a great destination for bird watching - but lacks things to do if you're not going over spend time watching birds.
I've been to many of the Islands off the coast of Ireland and have returned to most - even though I am glad I went out I don't think that I will return to Rathlin.
